I repetitively play pretty much every FF game that comes to console - will probably buy a PS3 solely for XIII - but I never touched XI and probably won't touch this one, either. Subscription fees just piss me off, plus I remember reading that XI was mainly a tank 'n' spank style game, which also pisses me off.
Best thing I see about this one is Nobuo Uematsu, although the waterfall pictures looked freakin' sweet. |

I wasn't particularly happy with XI, I only played it to about level 8 or so before quitting. Final Fantasy just isn't the same when it's an online game. Now if they made it a little more like GW with H/H and had a low level cap, I might be more interested.

I played to about lvl 30 with a galka monk on ff XI, love the monk class, and being a galka at that was just brutaly awsome.
That being said, lots of grind, got tired of it and continued to play gw, that was 2-3 years ago |

Played FFXI for 2 years and loved every bit of it. The FF community is one of the best ever. I'll be sure to plick this one up as well as The Old Republic from Bioware.
